Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 12 August 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By registering, booking, or using any part of Sendder Bus-In Parcel (“Sendder”, “the platform”) accessible at sendder.in, sendderpartner.com, or sendderadmin.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. About Sendder

Sendder is a technology platform that connects individuals and businesses (“Customers”) who wish to send parcels between Indian cities with independent inter-city bus operators (“Vendors”) who transport those parcels on their scheduled bus routes. Sendder is not itself a logistics or courier company; we facilitate the booking, payment, coordination, and tracking, and take a platform commission (currently 20%) from every completed shipment.

3. Eligibility

  • Customers must be at least 18 years old.
  • Vendors must possess valid transport permits, bus registration, and applicable state RTO documents.
  • Users must provide accurate, up-to-date phone number and identity information.

4. Prohibited items

You must not book or transport any of the following via Sendder:

  • Cash, currency, gold, silver, or precious stones.
  • Firearms, ammunition, explosives, flammable liquids.
  • Illegal drugs or narcotics, tobacco products in bulk.
  • Live animals, human remains, biological samples without proper documentation.
  • Perishable food without proper cold-chain arrangement (declare at booking).
  • Any items whose transport is restricted by the Indian Motor Vehicles Act, Postal Act, or state-level rules.

Violation may lead to booking cancellation without refund and legal action.

5. Booking & payment

  • The final price is quoted before payment based on weight, distance, add-ons (pickup/door delivery), and any applicable minimum charge.
  • Payments are handled by Razorpay. Sendder does not store any card / UPI credentials.
  • A booking is only confirmed once a Vendor accepts it; before acceptance the platform holds the payment and refunds 100% if no vendor accepts within 24 hours.

6. Vendor responsibilities

  • Handle parcels with reasonable care during transit.
  • Follow the accepted pickup / delivery schedule and update status truthfully.
  • Not to open, tamper with, resell, or misuse any parcel.
  • Comply with Indian traffic and transport regulations.

7. Customer responsibilities

  • Declare parcel contents accurately.
  • Not book prohibited items (see Section 4).
  • Provide correct sender / receiver details.
  • Be reachable on the registered phone number for coordination.

8. Liability

Sendder’s liability for any single parcel is capped at the lower of:

  • The declared value of the parcel (if declared and appropriate insurance was purchased); OR
  • ₹5,000; OR
  • 10x the booking fee paid on that shipment.

Sendder is not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages.

9. Dispute resolution

Disputes must be raised through the in-app dispute flow within 48 hours of delivery (or expected delivery). See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for timelines. Any court dispute shall be under the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, India, and governed by Indian law.

10. Termination

Sendder may suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms, engages in fraud, chargebacks, or misuse.

11. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via SMS / email; continued use of the platform after such notice constitutes acceptance.
